Today the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) along with the Clark County School District Police Department (CCSDPD), Las Vegas Academy security, and LVA administration responded to an altercation that occurred here on LVA’s campus during the beginning half of lunch.
According to a police officer, the number of officers who responded was out of precaution. This was to ensure the safety of parties involved.
All students and staff involved are safe.
Although there are a lot of rumors and unconfirmed reports spreading across campus, it’s important to remember that, as of right now, few details are confirmed about the situation, and spreading false information can do more harm than good. At LVA, we are a family, and we strive to respect all the students and staff that are represented here.
