At Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, students were asked what their recommendations for a first date would be in Las Vegas.
Celeste Guardado, a junior 2D major said, “I would recommend the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef.” She expresses how it is a good place to take pictures for a soft or hard launch. She also said, “I know there’s also little shops around there, maybe grab a drink, and it’s a really good opportunity to get to know the other person better.”
Melanie Fausto, a junior guitar major said, “Personally, I think a good first date idea would be bowling at Santa Fe and doing a movie and getting some pizza.” She says how she has done it before and thinks it’s always fun while getting to know the other person without it being too awkward.
Christian Cadet, a senior guitar major said, “I’d say a good first date idea would be any place where you could go get something to eat, and then you guys can find dessert somewhere nearby afterwards.”
Jackelin Lopez, a senior vocal major, expresses how there isn’t much to do in Las Vegas but said, “…But I do recommend going to a park, and buying a canvas, and paint, and if you are going with a partner or something switch and put a timer on for 5 minutes and keep switching the canvas and make one picture together.”
Lauren Kingham, a dance major said, “I think going ice skating would be really cute, like at an outdoor rink.” She expresses how it would be cute to do it for a bit and have dinner afterwards.
To conclude, some suggestions would be ice skating, bowling, a movie, the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef, painting in a park, or going out to eat. If you have any suggestions for a cute first date, feel free to comment below!
