horsegiirL is the fun DJ, singer, and producer everyone needs to know. She is a Berlin-based artist who also goes by “steLLa staLLiion” and refuses to share her real identity, hiding it behind her horse mask. In her biography for Resident Advisor, it says she lives at “Sunshine Farms” and was discovered by “Whitney Horseton” while she was singing in the stables before a horse show. Aside from that, we don’t know much about her personal life. 

Her first single “Harvest Heartbreak” was released on February 22nd, 2022, and her first EP Farm Fantasies came out less than 1 month later on March 4th with another German producer MCR-T. A year after her single “My Barn My Rules,” which used to be part of the Farm Fantasies EP but got taken off came out, it went viral on TikTok bringing attention to her music and creativity.

“It still bangs when I play it, but I’m definitely over it,” said Stella on her song being overplayed on the app, in her interview with Dazed. 

She has a new EP coming out called v.i.p. – very important pony. “I’m really excited, I love her music, and I’m excited to have more music of hers on my Spotify,” said senior vocal major, Coco Bryan. 

The first single off the album is called “eat, sleep, slay, repeat” released on September 12th, 2024. The EP is set to release on January 24th, 2025, and fans are very excited about this since she is relatively new to the industry and hasn’t released many songs yet.
