That chill is in the air again, and that means Christmas is rapidly approaching! With the spirit of Christmas slowly fading back into the hearts of many, here’s the rundown on all things new this Christmas season.

With every Christmas season there’s bound to be at least one new Christmas movie. One of them being titled Red One. This movie has some pretty big names including Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans. First, It Was a Brat Summer and Now it’s…a Nonsense Christmas?
Earlier this year, Netflix announced that Sabrina Carpenter is going to have her own Christmas special airing on Dec. 6 titled, A Nonsense Christmas. LVA student Ione Losander, is quite excited for this upcoming special. She stated that she’ll watch it, “The very second it comes out.” Carpenter is no stranger to Christmas releases though, as last year she released a Christmas EP titled, “fruitcake.”
New Christmas Music Already?
Artists have already started to release their new festive music. One of the first big artists to kick off the season of releasing Christmas music was Kelly Clarkson with her song, “You for Christmas,” released on Sept. 25. It was another lovey-dovey song for the season and acted as her lead single for her new Christmas album When Christmas Comes Around…Again.
Next up was Kesha’s cover of “Holiday Road” for a special Spotify Singles Holiday release on Oct. 15.
After that, Conan Gray released his song, “Holidays.” The song originally played on his tour, Found Heaven on Tour during the acoustic section with the announcement for when the song was released a week before its release date, Oct. 18.
These are only a few selections from this holiday season, with more artists like Orville Peck and Little Big Town, releasing their originals.
As the festive season approaches closer and closer, there will be more and more new releases from artists and creatives alike, but this is what is new on the horizon at the time of reporting. All of these are sure to help you get into the Christmas spirit.
