Growing up, I was raised as a Marvel girl. My dad and I grew up watching the films together, and one of my fondest memories of us is laughing at the scenes in Age of Ultron, where the Hulk smashes Loki into smithereens. “Puny Human” played on repeat as we watched the scene over and over again.

Marvel has always done a great job at delivering stunning action sequences and this movie is no exception. What sets Brave New World apart is how Sam Wilson’s fighting skills differ from Steve Rodgers. Without the super-soldier serum, Sam is forced to rely on his agility, strength, strategy, and aerial combat skills. His use of wings with the shield offers something new to audiences. The final battle scene had me glued to my seat.
