Happy Earth Day: A Walk Through the Rainforest of Puerto Rico

Over spring break I got the chance to visit San Juan, Puerto Rico and while the city has lots to offer, one of my favorite parts of the trip was going just outside the city to visit the Los Pilones waterfall in Canóvanas. It was a muddy and rock scrambling hike through the rainforest up to the rocky river and waterfall, with the journey just as fun as the beauty of the view. I captured some photos of the journey that I think speak to Earth’s beauty and the importance of celebrating it today.
