Additionally, data from the Treatment Improvement Network highlights the harmful effects of drugs, including consequences and treatment challenges, particularly for younger audiences. In an interview, a Las Vegas police officer named Pedro Robles shared his perspective: “A lot of political debates about drug use go down to violence as well, a lot of violent, violent tendencies with drugs.” He noted that many students turn to drugs as a coping mechanism, which has led schools in the area to report a sharp increase in drug-related incidents. However, students who do not engage with these resources may face serious consequences, as drug use continues to impact both education and community safety.
