American Horror Story is an American horror anthology television series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. American Horror Story came out on October 5, 2011, on FX. It currently has 12 seasons; the first season was called “Horror House” and the most recent season is called “Delicate”. Since its debut, American Horror Story has earned mostly positive reviews from critics and has been nominated for various awards. It’s been nominated for 19 Critics Choice Television Awards (four wins), 94 Emmy Awards (16 wins), nine Golden Globe Awards (two wins), six People Choice Awards (one win), 11 Satellite Awards (three wins), and 26 Saturn Awards.

Talk to Me premiered on July 28, 2023, and was directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou and distributed by A24 and Umbrella Entertainment. Talk to Me is a 2022 Australian supernatural horror film. It is a show about a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits with an embalmed hand and they become hooked on the new thrill and high-stake party game until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
The Nun Two:
The Nun Two premiered on September 8, 2023, and was directed by Michael Chaves and released by Warner Bro. The Nun Two is a movie that is set in 1956 France, where a priest is violently murdered, and sister Irene begins to investigate. She once again comes face to face with a powerful evil. The Nun Two serves as a sequel to The Nun (2018) and is the eighth installment of the Conjuring Universe franchise. Warner Bros liked the first movie so much that they made a second one and it remains stable in terms of the timeline as it takes place four years after the events of the first movie. The movie received lukewarm reviews from critics with some deeming it an improvement over its predecessors.
Horror Movies need an aspect to them that makes them interesting for people to be able to enjoy watching them. That aspect is the thriller in them or suspense that will soon be built up which causes a rush and many people will experience an elevated mood. I have recommended these three movie choices because of how much they fit into the standard of becoming a horror movie that is enjoyable to watch. The Nun Two fits into those standards because the film delivers jump scares and creepy imagery which builds up the thriller and suspense of the audience waiting to know what is going to happen next. Talk To Me is a good horror movie to be recommended because of the excellent performance from its cast, great cinematography, and frights that rely on so much more than blood, guts, and jump scares. American Horror Story is a great horror series that you will enjoy watching because of the topics it portrays; although it is convoluted yet effective, the show is strange, gory, and twisted enough to keep viewers hooked.
