After their recent tour with Pierce the Veil, The Used announced a new tour with Sleeping with Sirens. This announcement had many fans excited to see how the band would collaborate on this tour, and theorizing if there was going to be a potential song collab with the two bands.
In the past, there have been multiple iconic collaborations involving Sleeping with Sirens and The Used. This includes one of the most notorious collaborations in emo history Kellin Quinn and Pierce the Veil on the song “King for a Day”. This song broke multiple records and is the top listened to Pierce the Veil song. Ever since its release in 2012 it has introduced millions of fans to both bands and pushed more people to the emo scene.
Though this is not the only notorious collab in emo history. When Bert McCracken and Gerard Way started their famous relationship in the early 2000s fans have been conspiring about their relationship. Even though neither McCracken nor Way explicitly said anything about being involved romantically, fans still insisted that the two were dating. These conspiracies came to a quick end though when McCracken and Way publicly stopped being friends.
Both of these collaborations have played a crucial part in emo history. So when fans saw that the two bands were going on tour with each other, many were excited about the potential new content they would be receiving in the upcoming year. Whether that be a song, a music video feature, or a tour with The Used, Pierce the Veil, and Sleeping with Sirens.
Regardless of what these bands decide to create in the future the emo community will never forget all of these iconic moments.
