Now that UNLV’s Hockey season is underway, where do they stand? As the rookies learn and the veterans teach, here is what they think about this year’s team!
Rookie Luke Baker shares his thoughts on coming into the season, saying, “My expectations were very high at the start of the season. Being a few games in, now they have been exceeded. I love the atmosphere in practice and around the rink. The community is unreal!”
As the team has brought in quite a few new players, they are going to continue to look for the chemistry needed to compete throughout the season. The veterans are hoping the new players will not only add more energy to the team but also add rising talent.
To join the team at their next home game inside City National Arena, tickets are first-come, first-served and are $15 for non-UNLV students, $15 for CCSD and NSHE staff, and $20 for adults.
