Viewers tend to like the show because of its central performance of Ella Fanning and Nicholas Hoults to its use of modern dialogue and its sense of humor. However, it does occasionally plunge too far into darkness. Overall, the show is funny, feminist, zinging, and at least a bit true.

Her seemingly idyllic life takes a surprising turn when she decides to do stand-up comedy. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is both a comedy and period drama. Viewers tend to agree that it’s a good show to watch as it delivers drama with a lighthearted touch. The show features impressive actors who masterfully convey both melancholy and satire. It was released on Amazon Prime Video on March 17, 2017, and has episodes until May 26, 2023, and it currently has five seasons.
