Hot Hangout Spots for Teenagers in Vegas

Vegas is essentially a gambling town, making it difficult to find places for kids to have fun and enjoy their weekends without bumping into adults. However, there are a few popular yet entertaining spots that teenagers in Vegas frequently visit, including me!

1. Downtown Summerlin

Filled with countless shops and delicious eateries, Downtown Summerlin is a go-to place for teenagers to meet up. Though it can get pretty crowded, it’s worth the fun! Personally, coming here with my friends over the weekend never gets dull. Every winter, it’s our tradition to go ice skating at the Rock Rink, then at Shake Shack afterwards. No matter the season, you’ll never run out of activities at Downtown Summerlin.

2. Town Square

Town Square has it all: movies, restaurants, stores, and even arcades! If you’re looking for a place you’ll never get bored, this hot spot is for you. Hidden gems such as Escapology and The Pottery Shop are perfect go-tos for casual, but exciting hangouts. I always find myself snacking on Auntie Anne’s after going to the theater, or as a little treat while strolling around the plaza.

3. AREA15

Home of the famous Omega Mart, AREA15 is the embodiment of entertainment, featuring numerous rides, experiences, and games. Despite the pricey fee, teenagers frequently hang out here. Though I’ve never been, this spot earns a place on the list as it’s one of my dream places to see.

4. Adventuredome

Located inside Circus Circus, Adventuredome is a thrilling experience of rides and fun. This place is popular not only for birthday parties, but also for where teenagers come to enjoy their weekends. It’s the perfect spot for a fun, light-hearted celebration. Their roller coasters are thrilling enough for you to lose your lunch! (unfortunately speaking from experience).

5. Cowabunga Canyon

Formerly known as Wet N’ Wild, Cowabunga Canyon is a branch location of Cowabunga Bay. Though it is a spot only available during the hotter months, its popularity among teenagers is what landed it on this list. Every summer, you’ll always find me here trying out all the rides and stuffing my face with their famous funnel cake.
