Batteries Included at the MLK Parade

With the help of LVA’s technical theater teacher and students, president Parker Toth got to work planning, measuring, and cutting pieces for the wood portion of the float

This year, at the MLK parade, the Batteries Included city run club gets a chance to be an opening float. Led by the Las Vegas Academy chapter and members of the skills usa club, the organization came together to honor history.

Parker Toth, Junior at Las Vegas Academy is enjoying her first year as a Multimedia and Communications major. While also being in Publications she wishes to contribute to as much as she can this year.

Aerith Hamper, Article Editor

Aerith Hamper is a Senior Media Arts and Communications major. She is the Editor in Chief of Design for the 25-26 Yearbook. She specializes in writing, photography, and project planning. Outside of Journalism she aspires a career in novel writing, theater costume design, and teaching.
